Before creating the Damselfly label at the age of 18, Christianna pursued her skills in silver smithing through studies in Australia and India. The label designs draw on these traditional skills as well as Christianna’s background in Fine Arts.
Christianna invests months each year in travelling overseas and sourcing materials which make damselfly pieces unique and cherished. “Each piece has a story” she says. “People appreciate that difference when they find truly distinctive pieces. “
Damselfly jewellery is created using a broad range of materials, including semi-precious stones; Swarovski crystal; glass beads; sterling silver beads and a range of antique findings.
Each year, Christianna conceives a distinctive theme for a new collection to add to Damselfly’s existing ranges.
Inspired by more than seasonal trends, Christianna extends her personal sense of style and sophistication to piece together collections Damselfly devotees appreciate all year round.
