Introducing Laszlo Designs founders are Laszlo & Anna, a husband & wife duo.
We make belts from used bicycle tyres. The idea come to Laszlo while he was a bicycle messenger in Budapest four years ago – quite annoying to have to chuck a brand new expensive tyre because a piece of glass.
We continued to make belts here in Oz, once leaving Budapest. As we are using recycled material, we are reducing landfill in the beautiful country and at the same time putting a very unique product out into the Australian fashion industry.
You will never come across the same belt twice, each one is unique and one-offs, as there are thousands of treads. They will also last you a life time, rubber is a very tough material.
